During pre-game festivities, San Francisco defensive tackle D.J. Jones proposed to his girlfriend at Levi’s Stadium.
Jones was surrounded by friends, team-mates and family on the sideline about an hour and a half before the NFL clash.
The 24-year-old had to first distract his now-fiancée, Kayla Fannin, so he pointed to the scoreboard across the field and then popped the question.
Spoiler: Fannin said “Yes”.
Among those cheering was 49ers team-mate Marquise Goodwin, who also celebrated the proposal.
Jones was a sixth-round pick in the 2017 draft out of Mississippi.
He has started in all three games for the 49ers this season after earning the starting nod in just four of 10 games last year. Jones has four tackles through his first three games.
